Birthday Parties at The Clearing
Come and hold your child’s birthday party at The Clearing in Lesnes Abbey Woods.
Enjoy the magic of this space underneath a parachute canopy and around a fire for keeping warm and toasting marshmallows.
We will support woodland activities including:
Den making with willow weaving
Jewellery making using coins, hammers and nails
Wood splitting
Foraged plaiting and natural cordage, making head dresses and necklaces
Food is not included, but the fire can be used to roast on.
We encourage parents to accompany their children to deepen a shared family woodland experience. Hots drinks available for parents and carers.
What to bring:
Boots or sturdy footwear to be worn - no open toed shoes - and weather appropriate clothing
Water bottle
All protective equipment is supplied.
Whatever the weather, the party will go ahead, except under high wind conditions or lightning. Our central, open fire and large parachute canopy will keep you warm and dry throughout.

"The Clearing" is an outdoor purpose-built creative space in Lesnes Abbey Woods.

Costs and Availability:
The space is available throughout the year for a 3 hour slot.
£275 for up to 15 children and their accompanying adults.
An additional £15 per child up to 20 children in total.
