This is an opportunity to explore and engage with nature in a new and creative way.

This is a full day’s session for absolute beginners to explore techniques and tools involved in working with fresh ‘green wood’, supporting our wellbeing.

We explore many aspects of woodland crafts, working at a gentle and respectful pace.

We will be making fires, sawing and splitting wood, carving with an axe and working safely with a carving knife and a crook knife.

All within a supportive environment, working at your own pace.

The session runs from 10am till 4pm .

A ticket for this session is for 1 adult or 1 adult + 1 child. Please let us know by email if you will be bringing a child with you, so we will be prepared.

We will start with a meditation that helps settle our attention and connect us to our surroundings, exploring the subtle aspects of this world.

As we immerse ourselves in nature and ancient crafts, we honour and improve our health and wellbeing.

This session runs throughout the year and is held outdoors. Warm comfortable weather-proof clothing is essential. Please bring a packed lunch and a flask.

To find us in the woods, enter the woods from New Road. Put the address below into Google maps and there will be a gate into the woods with a sign showing you the way.
