Hosted by Friends of Lesnes Abbey and Woods, Sunday 14th September, 10am - 4pm, brings us the Woodland Festival, a 16th century medieval themed parade!
Journeying from the ruins into the woods, join us in dressing up and parading in a celebration of nature.
From 10am we will be based at the Monk’s Gardens - with an information stall, demonstrations and interactive crafts - and at The Clearing - for games!
From 2pm we will be dressing up in our costumes and face painting.
At 3pm we set off from the old ruins on our parade, to finish by 4pm.
Bring things to make noise with!
